5 dolla, holla!
I got this table at The Salvation Army Thrift Store for $5.
It didnt start out like this it looked more like this:
Solid wood with some cute lil detailing but overall - ugly.
So, I took my gray reject paint from Walmart that was discounted to $4 and some 87 cent black acrylic paint to it.
First I took the handle off the drawer and filled in the holes with some wood filler and sanded it down so I could add a knob. I lightly sanded all over with my orbital sander. Painted on two coats of latex gray, let dry overnight. I dry-brushed the black on the next morning. I went back and lightly sanded some spots with a sanding block.
Im sorta haphazard with my painting. And sanding.
I also took some very berry Walmart special! and painted the inside of the drawer and added a half off knob from Hobby Lobby.
Way better than what it started out with! Right? Right!

Blessings.
During the holidays I am always reminded of all my blessings. I pray I never take them for granted. Speaking of blessings. I feel so blessed to be building our home. It seems like there were alot of bumps, and more to come I am sure. There has been ALOT of progress lately!
From the front.
I bet there arent many new construction signs that have smileys.. :)
Isnt he cutie? :)
This is standing sorta to the side of the living room looking at the back of the house. I love the wall of windows! This is the living on the left, open to the kitchen nook on the right.
Entry way - looking from the living room to the front door. Looking at dining to the left in the picture, to the right as you walk in and the basement stairs.
Martin visiting, standing in the road that the workers/trucks have left dirty..
View from the back.
Standing in the corner of the living room - looking at the kitchen/nook, dining room as well as the 1/2 bath and catwalk up top!
Standing at the front door looking at the stairs and catwalk with living room in the background.
Look at those teef!
Its hard to look at in pictures..Im just trying to document the process.
So thankful for the opportunity to build with my best friend. :)
